• Two flutes give a clean finish to cut edges.
• All cutters above and including 9.5mm diameter, have TCT plunge centre tips.

Eccentric single flute

Eccentric single flute cutters.

• Cutters are chosen for fast free cutting, when cutting speed takes preference over finish.
• Cutters with prefix S are Solid Carbide.
• Cutters of 2.0mm diameter and below should have a maximum of 1.0mm depth of cut per pass.
• Small diameter tools must be handled with care to avoid breakage.
• Single flute cutters should not be used in eccentric chucks.

Pin guided rebaters to follow work edges

The guide pin follows the work edge to give a preset width of rebate.

• Ref. 8D/4 can be used to create a counterbore for a slot to accept M5 and M6 pan head screws.

Bearing Guide 90 degree

Blades of cutters Refs. 46/01 & 46/03 can be rotated through 180 degrees to give one new cutting edge.

• Blades for 46/010 can be rotated by exchanging blades over.
• Refs 46/02 have blades that can be rotated in 90 degree increments giving three extra new edges.

Bearing mounted on end of cutter

Self-guiding trimmers with bearings mounted on end of cutter.

• For trimming plastic or plywood overlay.
• For copy profiling, use the bearing to follow a template or base edge of board.
• An approximate 3mm overlap should be left before copy profiling. When using plastic laminate adhesive to dry before trimming. This avoids clogging the guide bearing.
• Refs. T46/1, 46/2 and 46/20 are downcut to prevent breakout on veneer.
• Ref. 46/211 has a sleeved bearing to allow for regrinds in case of resharpening.

Combi trimmer

For trimming top & lip.

• Economical cutters, perform 3 functions:
• 1. To top trim the overlay at 90 degrees.
• 2. To trim the overlay at 45 degrees or 60 degrees.
• 3. The base of the cutter can trim the vertical lipping at 90 degrees.
• Requires side fence or roller bearing.

Two flute flush trimmers

For trimming the lipping of plastic overlay, and for rebating and

• machining wood, Duralium and plastics.
• Tungsten Carbide Tipped.
• Use at speed 12000 - 24000 RPM.

Mortar Groove & Large Chamfer

Some Ovolo cutters can be used with radius cutters, to make rule joints.

• Ref. 7/01 has an extra long shank of 40mm.

Classic Set

The classic method of producing cabinet panelled door and drawer fronts is made easy with the Profile Scriber set.

• The components are rearranged on the arbor to cut the profile or the scribe.

Panel Door Set - Ogee

These panel door sets each consist of one profile scriber cutter and a matching bearing guided panel cutter. Details of each cutter can be found on their relevant pages. Two shank sizes are offered either 8mm and 1/2 inch.

• 8mm shank set should only be used with a medium or heavy duty .
• Router table use only.
• When using PSC sets at the minimum material thickness, the height of the top quirk may be reduced.
