Eccentric single flute cutters.

• Cutters are chosen for fast free cutting, when cutting speed takes preference over finish.
• Cutters with prefix S are Solid Carbide.
• Cutters of 2.0mm diameter and below should have a maximum of 1.0mm depth of cut per pass.
• Small diameter tools must be handled with care to avoid breakage.
• Single flute cutters should not be used in eccentric chucks.

• Better plunge characteristics.
• Single flute - faster feed rates.
• Single flute cutters should not be used in eccentric chucks.

Pocket Cutters

A single flute cutters with extra long shanks.

• All the single flute tools have recessed shanks to allow deeper cutting.
• Deep grooving, rebating and mortising.
• Useful for template work when thickness of template restricts depth.
• Extra care must be taken to avoid breakage.
• Take more passes than usual, and only cut up to half the diameter of the cutter in one pass.
• This applies to cutters under 3/8 inch diameter.
