Intumescent Recesser

Cutter Set Ref. 346 is used for the grooving of door edges to receive 10mm intumescent strip. The arbor can be lowered or raised to give a wider groove for 20mm strip. Alternatively Ref. 345 can be used for 20mm strip. Choose alternative bearings shown above to suit other thicknesses of intumescent strip.

Smoke Seal Recesser

Refs. 332 and 332 are designed to accommodate quick fit smoke seal brush strips. The groove is cut in the door edge rather than the frame.

• Ref. 332 has no bearing guide.
• Ref. 333 comes complete with a guide bearing to reduce setting-up time.
