If your product becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 12 months of purchase, we guarantee to replace all defective parts free of charge, or at our discretion, replace the unit free of charge provided that:-
- Proof of date of purchase is provided.
- The product has not been misused, abused or improperly maintained and has been used in accordance with the instructions.
- No unauthorised repair or modification has been made to the product.
- Service and/or repair of power tools and machinery is carried out by an authorised Trend Service Agent.
- The product was not stolen or is a counterfeit copy.
Please note:-
- This guarantee is personal to the original purchaser and Is not transferable.
- The guarantee is in addition to and does not affect contractual rights as a professional user or your statutory rights as a private non-professional user.
- Customers must ensure that products are suitable for the purposes intended before use.
- Trend cannot be held liable for any products or unauthorised service of any product. We also cannot be held liable for material rendered unusable or any form of consequential loss.

If you have purchased your product from a Trend stockist, please contact them with your request. If you have purchased your product from our online ordering facility, please contact our customer services department.
For web-order customers wishing to return a product due to incorrectly purchased item, warranty claim or complaint, contact must be made directly with our customer services department giving full details of the nature of the problem. Our customer services department will issue you with a unique reference number to be used on all correspondence relating to that particular return. The customer must use this reference number and supply the original despatch note number when returning the goods. Any product returned before authorisation (ie without the reference number) may not be accepted.
The complaint will be investigated to ensure validity of return and if accepted will be corrected or replaced accordingly. If the return is found to be as a result of customer abuse, the item in question will be returned to the customer. Please refer to warranty section above.
All returns relating to incorrectly purchased items are subject to a 10% handling fee that will be deducted from the refund and carriage costs will be the responsibility of the sender.

Power Tool Servicing Back To Top
We have a number of stockists situated in the UK that provide a repair service for Trend powertools. To locate your nearest Trend Service Agent, please look under the stockist search engine selecting the code TSA.
If the tool is within warranty and has not been abused, the TSA will submit a claim form of the completed repair and/or service to Trend with no costs to you the customer.
If the repair and/or service are out of warranty, the TSA will charge you the customer accordingly. They will advise you of the cost involved prior to proceeding with the repair and/or service. The cost of carriage (to and from the Trend Distributor or Service Agent) shall be borne by the customer.

Special Cutters Back To Top
Router cutters can be made to customer´s specific requirements. In order to do this, the customer must provide exact dimensions or a wood profile, shank size, material grade (e.g. TCT or PCD), flute form, number of tips, rotation and material to be cut.
Upon receipt of the details, a full and comprehensive quotation will be submitted in writing to for authorisation to proceed with manufacture. Please contact Trend Technical Support for further information.
Resharpening Back To Top
Diamond Sharpening Stones are a very effective way to hone and maintain the condition of your tooling, both tungsten carbide and HSS. It is also recommended that you clean the tool after each application. You should always use Lapping Fluid with your stone as this acts as a lubricant for your tool as well as a preventative measure against damage to your stone. All faces of the tool should be honed an equal number of times. Please ensure that both the tooling and sharpening stone are thoroughly dried before storing away.
Occasionally it may be necessary to have your tool professionally sharpened as the edges will be beyond effective repair by further honing.
