General Terms and Conditions for All Competitions
THE PROMOTER
The Promoter of this Promotion is Trend Tool Technology Ltd, Unit 6, Odhams Trading Estate, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD24 7TR and the Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
This competition is run by Trend Tool Technology Ltd. The competition is open to residents of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Any participants must be aged 18 years or over, and, if they are a winner, they may be asked to provide photographic evidence of their passport or driving license, that verifies their age.
Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of their group companies, or their families or households, or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
By entering any of these competitions or prize draws, winners agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material on our website, email or social channels, as well as any of the content provided on entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Trend Tool Technology and not to any other party.
The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify participants who it considers not to have complied with any of these terms and conditions or, any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.
The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims and entries including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age and other relevant details of a participant and before accepting a claim or entry as being valid.
HOW TO ENTER & THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES
To enter, you must sign up at the following link https://www.trend-uk.com/trend70-challenge-sign-up, stand in front of the backdrop holding both tools facing away from you and towards the Trend staff member and attempt to hit 70° on the Digital Angle Rule and 70mm on the Digital Caliper without looking or receiving external help.
Attempts may be recorded as evidence of score achieved, by submitting your details you are agreeing to be recorded and you may be featured in any of our upcoming marketing and on our social media platforms. Unless you sign up further we will only use this email address to contact you if you are a winner.
To be elligle to win the prizes, entrants must be 18+.k
Due to the nature of the prizes, younger participants will be able to attempt the challenge for fun, but are not eligible to win the prizes.
There is no entry fee to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Only one entry will be accepted per person.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
THE PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
The winner will be the best scoring entrant, per day and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
For Makers Central 2025 the prizes are as follows
1st Place - T1 Plunge and Trim Base Router - T1EPS
2nd Place - Mini Pocket Hole Jig - PH/JIG/M
3rd Place - 200mm Digital Angle Rule - DAR/200
The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If they cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
This Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this Promotion will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English court
The prizes are only available to be won by residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and Northern Ireland.
In the event that a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize in the time required the winner shall forfeit their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to any other participant of the Promotion in accordance with promotion terms and conditions, above.
The prize is not for re-sale nor is it transferable to another individual. If a winner does not wish to retain their prize, the prize must be returned to the Promoter and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another participant in accordance promotion terms and conditions, above. No compensation will be given in such circumstances.
