AIR/PRO/M - Air Pro Max Powered Respirator Helmet 240V UK & IRE
An all-in-one full-face APF40 powered respirator and safety helmet that delivers a steady flow of fresh, filtered air for comfortable prolonged use. Provides respiratory protection against harmful hardwood, MDF, brick, concrete and stone dust for prolonged periods. The self-contained safety helmet respiratory system (without trailing leads or hoses) is ideal for use in environments with risk of falling objects and head impacts.
- Positive Pressure APF40 Respiratory Protection (EN12941:1998+A2:200 TH3P) removes the need for on-site face fit testing and prevents fogging and misting.
- High-Impact Head Protection (EN 397:2012 + A1:2012) complies to HSE onsite safety helmet regulations for protection from falling objects and head impacts.
- Panoramic Flip-Up Visor (EN 166:2002 1B3) provides excellent all-round vision and protects eyes and face against flying debris (medium energy impact) and splashes. Visor can be protected using optional Visor Overlays (AIR/PM/3).
- Tool-Free Cartridge Filter delivers 99.8%+ filtration performance.

The Airflow indicator supplied with the Air/Pro Max mask is a great tool to show the efficiency of the filter. It depends on how contaminated the environment is that your working in.
Low airflow indicator check Before using the respirator perform a low airflow indicator check:
1. Ensure that the HEPA filter has been installed correctly as shown in Figure 7 on page 15.
2. Activate the respirator with the on/off switch as shown in Figure 9 and perform the following test, noting the LED indicator.
3. Use your hand to block the airflow outlet as shown in Figure 10(2). If the respirator is working correctly the fan will increase in speed.
4. Within approximately 10 seconds the LED indicator will turn from GREEN to RED.
5. The RED LED indicates low airflow.
6. Remove your hand from the air inlet.
7. Switch the respirator off using the on/off switch as shown in Figure 9 to cancel the test.
8. Activate the respirator with the on/off switch once again before use.

Discolouration of the filter is also a good indication that the filter needs changing.
None of our masks are suitable for abstestos because they cannot be cleaned sufficiently to be free from dust.
The Air/Pro is not suitable for Silica dust but the Air/pro Max is APF40 and is suitable. The half masks, including the Air Stealth & Stealth Lite, are not suitable.
The Airshield Pro has been ergonomically designed to work for longer periods of time. In this respect the comfort of the headband and the balance of the unit are optimised for user comfort. The Airshield Pro weighs 996 gm. The AirShield Pro Max weighs 1480 gm.
